Your Island Connection in Las Vegas
Who We Are
Here at AlohaValley.com, we are a small web 'ohana (family). Solely made up of myself (Da Webmastah), my wife, Melissa and a few staff members. In March of 2002 we started out as a part-time hobby site. Today, just a short time later we have more than quadrupled our content and Internet presence. We have become Southern Nevada's & Las Vegas' Premiere Pacific Island Community Resource Center.
Aloha Valley is based in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. We bring the Pacific Ocean to the Mojave Desert.
Why We Are Here
AlohaValley.com is in existence to spread the Aloha Spirit and share our "9th Island" Las Vegas culture & community with all. We are dedicated to providing resources and information pertaining to our Pacific Island heritage and culture. It is vital that we continue the preservation of our way of life, for ourselves and our keiki (children). We feel it is necessary that we share our culture and show our Aloha Spirit to everyone worldwide. We hope you find our website informative and entertaining. We are here for all Pacific Islanders, Hawaiians, "Locals" and "Hawaiians-at-Heart" to enjoy.
Our focus is to deliver an accurate assessment of the island lifestyle and culture as we know it. You won't find any plastic leis, fake tikis or mai tais here. There are many Hawaiians, former Hawaii "Local" residents, and Pacific Islanders who have relocated to southern Nevada. This also includes the vast array of nationalities and races that live in the Aloha State of Hawai'i (i.e. - Japanese, Filipino, Samoan, Chinese, Portuguese, Puerto Rican, Chamorro, Tongan, Haole, Popolo, etc.). Our intent is to "comfort" and ease the transition of newly transplanted islanders and to keep long time mainland residents in touch with the "Island Style" and "Local Ways".
How We Accomplish Goals
AlohaValley.com works along side several different organizations and firms to provide the best resources available. This is only possible because of you. We welcome all feedback. You tell us, we deliver (within reason of course). Mahalo (Thank you) to all who have expressed their interest in AlohaValley.com!
Although it now requires many hours to maintain and provide our services, we are very pleased with our progress. We look forward to a bright future and being a big part of the Las Vegas community.

 Francis Paul Ganon |
Enjoys and cherishes time spent with family and friends. Proud to be of Hawaiian, Chinese, Filipino and "Podagee" bloodline. A typical "Local Boy" sporting an Aloha shirt or t-shirt, shorts and rubbah slippah.
The name Ganon is of Filipino/Ilocano decent, not to be confused with the American name Gannon or the fictional character from The Legend of Zelda video game.
Mahalo to my immediate 'ohana for supporting my efforts and the sacrifices made which allow me the time to maintain Aloha Valley.
Big Aloha and shaka to my 'ohana in Puna, Hilo, Portland, OR and in the Chicago, IL area.
Mahalo to the 9th Island 'ohana who share the compassion & continued support of Aloha Valley.
