YUMMY Reviewed by JAMIE PRESSER, 2009-03-24 I THINK CHRISTINA AND HER FRIENDS HAVE NO TASTE ESPECIALLY TO TALK ABOUT THEIR BODILY FUNCTIONS SO OPENLY. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! I WORK RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER AND THE GIRLS AND I "TREAT" OURSLEVES TO SUSHI EVERY FRIDAY. I HAD NO IDEA WHEN I WENT THERE THAT I USE TO WORK FOR ONE OF THE OWNERS AT A DIFFERENT BUSINESS HE AND HIS GIRLFRIEND ARE AMAZING FRIENDLY PEOPLE AND I CAN TELL THEY HAVE A HAND IN THE STAFF BECAUSE THE STAFF REFLECTS THE SAME POSTIVE ATTITUDE. THIS PLACE ROCKS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND DON'T LET SOME STUCK UP IDIOTS GET YOU DOWN!
ONO-LICIOUS! Reviewed by 808-2-702, 2009-02-09 I don't know why this chick is dogging this joint! she probably don't know what real sushi really is! she even put the same review on urbanspoon.com, Cuz the food is ONO! I've been there several times and planning on going back.
ONO GRINDZ Reviewed by Kinikuuipo, 2009-02-09 Ok guys, if you are looking for some cheap, fresh, onolicious grindz you have to go to Island Sushi. They have AYCE sushi and the menu includes, mochiko chicken, katsu, garlic chicken and lots of other delicious options. We go atleast twice a week and we are never disappointed. The portions are HUGE and the sushi is fresh. Service is the best in town. It feels like you back home when you walk in. I recommend this place when you are missing home and need a reminder of the ono food. Thanks guys for bringing a piece of home to Vegas.
Get Place!! Reviewed by Cristina, 2009-01-29 I love this place, get people and great prices. One of the best all you can eat places in Henderson area. Fish is fresh and they have a great customer loyalty program! love it!!
If you want diarrhea... then eat here...GROSS! Reviewed by Cristina, 2009-01-17 Myself and 3 friends came here for dinner. We ALL had sashimi. We ALL got horrible diarrhea within 3 hours. Thanks a lot Island Sushi! The girls that were waiting on people were nice, but the place is run horribly. Food takes way too long to come out, and the 2 brothers that own the place are arrogant and rude to customers. You couldn't pay me to eat here again. Health dept. should look into this place. I'm sure there are violations galore. 0 stars.
Absolutely Awesome! Reviewed by hawaiigurl, 2008-08-31 Island Sushi is da greatest! You know it's good when friends and family that still live in Hawaii come to Vegas so they can eat at Island Sushi! The AYCE is reasonably priced and you get your choice of appetizers and sushi. The mochiko chicken and the deep fried oysters are ONO!!
The BEST Reviewed by terijaye, 2008-02-18 Yum! This place has the best sushi and plate lunches and for the most reasonable prices you can find anywhere. The portions are huge and all the entrees come with desert. They are open for lunch and dinner and I think they're closed on Sundays. We go there at least once a week cause we can't stay away!
Da BOMB! Reviewed by Ikaika, 2008-01-19 Stopped by the other night to have some dinner. First of all, service is awesome and very welcoming. The girls make you feel like you're back home in Hawaii. The food was not only ono (garlic/mochiko chicken), but plentiful. I'm a big guy and a big eater, but I couldn't even eat em all. I had sushi too, the spicy scallop. It was ono...ono...ono. I will definitely be back again, soon. Service is great, food is great, and not too hard on the wallet. The best thing to me is that they are conveniently located and close at 11:00 pm (more convenient than the normal 9 pm closings). They definitely deserve 5 shakas.
