Five Star Gourmet
Las Vegas is home to many 5-star gourmet restaurant establishments. Although not many have the honor to claim ties to the Pacific Islands of Hawaii. On a mission, Aloha Valley searched the valley for the "perfect" experience in fine dining. One that would provide total indulgence, yet provide the comfort and taste of the islands we know. Our search concluded a small handful. Notably, there are two restaurants in particular which feature exotic Pacific fusion cuisine.
Roy's Restaurant is home to Hawaiian Fusion© Cuisine - with an excellence in culinary. Pacific & European flavors blended to perfection. Roy's Restaurants reflect the vision of founder and renown Chef Roy Yamaguchi, well known throughout the world for its Hawaiian Fusion cuisine; featuring bold exotic flavors & pleasing textures with strong emphasis on the freshest of seafood. Among Roy's signature culinary creations are Hibachi Grilled Salmon, Roy's Original Blackened Island Ahi, Szechwan Spiced Baby Back Pork Ribs and Chocolate Soufflé.
Guest are treated to an extensive menu of tantalizing appetizers, entrees, fresh fish dishes, desserts and an award winning wine list - surrounded by an elegant & spacious dining room and expansive lounge area. Roy's famous Aloha Service comes straight from the heart as every guest is indulged; experiencing a special feeling. Guests can expect an average cost of dinner at Roy’s to be approximately $45 - $55 a person.
Acclaimed chef Jean-Marie Josselin brings the unique flavor of Hawaii and exquisite Euro-Pacific cuisine to Las Vegas. Simply called "808" (a fimiliar term amongst Hawaii Locals) this Five-Star Hawaiian-themed fusion restaurant is located in Ceasars Palace. Prepared by Chef de Cuisine Wesley Coffel 808 combines the freshest seafood of the Hawaiian Islands with French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Indian techniques. Euro-Pacific culinary techniques blend ethnic ingredients and spices to tantalize, tempt and satisfy - a favorite of Epicureans around the world.
Deconstructed Ahi Roll, Crab Cerviche, Chilled Seafood Platter Avocado Salad, and White Truffle Dressing with Sushi Rice - fascinating appetizers to entice your craved flavors. In all its adventure, menu items will keep you close to home with a dim sum sampler and Hawaii favorite bento box containing six assorted appetizers served in a bamboo container.
Main courses feature exotic blends of fresh seafood, veal, beef, chicken and lamb entrees. Creations include Savory Lobster Bisque with Lemon Crème Fraîche, Porcini Crusted Ahi with fried asparagus & mushroom, Thai-style coconut red curry basil soup with shellfish, Grilled Ahi & Warm Goat Cheese Salad with roasted peppers and fennel vinaigrette, Stir - accompanied by an outstanding collection of the finest wines on the Las Vegas Srip. Guests of 808 can expect an average cost of dinner to be approximately $55 - $65 a person.
