Loco Moco


Loco Moco		"100% Hawaii Local" The traditional/original Loco Moco dish is made up of white rice, hamburger patty, a fried egg covered with brown gravy and served in a saimin style bowl. It can also be served in a plate lunch style with macaroni salad. With "Local" variation, the hamburger patty can be replaced with Spam, Portuguese Sausage, or "Red" hot dog. Ingredients		Single Serving ground beef/hamburger patty 1 large egg brown gravy white rice (calrose/hinode)

Directions		Fry (or grill) hamburger patty. Fry egg sunny-side-up or over easy Place hambuger patty over bed of cooked/steamed rice Place egg on top of hambuger patty Pour brown gravy over entire dish (Optional) Top off with ketchup or Tabasco sauce

Very yummy stuff...I like to mis and match with Portuguese sausage and hamburger steak..I better eat right now cause' I keep coming back to FOOD & DINING pages...I think I'll go make some vienna sausage, rice & eggs..I want ketchup on my eggs today...Sas
