17th Annual Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club Ho'olaule'a Pacific Islands Festival
September 14, 15, 16 was a very busy Hawaiian style weekend in Las Vegas. A handful of Hawaiian concerts, luaus, gatherings, parties, and UH vs UNLV football. The ho'olaule'a was the main attraction and center hub for the "Aloha weekend". The 17th Annual Las Vegas Hawaiian Civic Club Ho'olaule'a Pacific Islands Festival was held at the Henderson Events Plaza in Downtown Henderson, Nevada.
Islanders and Islanders-at-heart enjoyed two straight days of Hawaiian, Polynesian, & Pacific Island entertainment. The non-stop entertainment kept spectators excited with nahenahe style traditional Hawaiian music as well as performances by hula halaus and Tahitian groups. There were countless "Hana Hou's" throughout both days.
With over a 100 merchant vendors selling Hawaiian crafts & goods, "onolicious" island style food, and great informative booths event go-ers ate until their opu's (and heart's) were full and shopped until content, or until their wallet went empty. Whichever came first... hmmmm!
