Las Vegas, Nevada - The Little Grass Shack Hawaiian radio show is broadcasted Saturday mornings from 10AM - 1PM (Pacific Standard Time) on KUNV-FM 91.5 in Las Vegas. Outside of the Las Vegas Valley area the island style radio show can be heard through online streaming via KUNV.org. The LGS first hit the airwaves of KUNV-FM back in August of 2001. LGS is the longest running Hawaiian radio show in Las Vegas and the first & only show on the FM frequency.
The Little Grass Shack features host Island Emory, co-host Pu'ukani, co-host/sidekick "Da Webmastah", and Producer "Big" Island Emory. LGS brings the Spirit of Aloha to the 9th Island of Las Vegas. The line up for the show consists of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music, slack-key artists, and Hawaiian reggae, also known as Jawaiian. LGS also plays music from areas surrounding the islands of Hawaii, such as Samoa, Guam, Tahiti, Tonga, Fiji, and others.

Emory Nihipali Jr. is the man who started it all in August 2001. He envisioned a Hawaiian & island radio show which could reach the people through the FM frequency. Island Emory brings the Hawaiian & Aloha to the Little Grass Shack. He hopes to touch people in different ways. He is ever so grateful to be able to provide this service to the Southern Nevada community and the people visiting or passing through Las Vegas. With online streaming Emory now wants to spread the Aloha worldwide. The show has given Emory the inner peace that comes from his love for the music, for the people, and for the “Aloha Spirit.”

Paul "Pu'ukani" Sebala, co-host of The Little Grass Shack radio show started in radio back in 1993 when he had the opportunity to host a Hawaiian music show called "2 Scoops Of Aloha" on KTUH 90.3FM Hawaii. He later managed an internship with KCCN-FM 100 before moving to Las Vegas in December 2002. Pu'ukani became a co-host for the Little Grass Shack in 2005. His island radio personality brings a professional flare to the show. Pu'ukani also operates Pipeline2Paradise.com, one of the most successful 24/7 streaming Hawaiian Internet radio show.

Francis Paul Ganon is a co-host who calls himself a "sidekick" to the show. A longtime frequent listener and community affiliate, Francis Paul joined the Little Grass Shack in 2007. His true "Local Boy" mentality brings a definite charm to make you feel like you're back in Hawaii. Francis Paul gives thanks to his wife Melissa for being very supportive in his efforts to spread the Aloha. "She listens to every show, you know", says "Da Webmastah." Francis is the owner/operator of the Las Vegas Hawaiian & Island community portal called AlohaValley.com (yes, this website).

The man behind the scenes. Emory Nihipali Sr, is in charge of keeping everything running smooth at the Little Grass Shack. Producer Big Island Emory not only lines up the music you here every Saturdays, but also answers all your phone calls and shout outs. His hard work and dedication brings the best of island music to Las Vegas and the world. Emory Sr. also takes on the responsibility to feed the crew at LGS. It's a task that is well appreciated by the island style DJ's.
