The Little Grass Shack Radio Show in Las Vegas features traditional and contemporary Hawaiian, Island Music and even music from Samoa, Guam and Tahiti. The Show can be heard on KUNV 91.5 FM in Las Vegas or streaming worldwide at KUNV.org. Currently, the live show airs at 10am - 1pm PST every Saturday morning.
Being the longest running Hawaiian radio show in Las Vegas and the first & only show on the FM frequency, the Little Grass Shack has made it's mark amongst the local community. Thousands of listeners tune in every Saturday. The show has also gotten recognition from Las Vegas TV news.
The Little Grass Shack has been making waves, breaking on the shores of Hawaii. The show has raised a few eyebrows back in the Aloha State.
Alaka'i, The Morning Goddess - KPOA
Alaka'i Paleka, The Morning Goddess of Maui's KPOA 93.5 showed a liking to the Las Vegas Hawaiian radio show. The LGS crew was featured on Maui's top morning show during a Las Vegas remote. Alaka'i visited the LGS KUNV studio and praised the efforts of the LGS crew. Alaka'i expressed joy and excitement wanting to tell all of Maui about her newly found desert oasis. Da Boloheads, Jaz & Phil - KAPA
The Little Grass Shack was also featured on air as Jaz and Phil, "Da Boloheads" morning show on KAPA Hawaiian FM 99.1 Kona, 100.3 Hilo; came to Las Vegas for a week long live remote broadcast. Da Boloheads were intrigued hearing about the LGS Las Vegas show. "It's amazing to have Hawaiian music in Vegas" said Jaz and Phil. Visit Da Boloheads.
Tony Solis - Oceanic Cable 16
Hawaii Television has also claimed interest, Oceanic Cable's (OC16) "Eh! U Da kine, Ah?" hosted by Tony Solis has made the trip to the 9th Island. Tony and his crew showed up at the KUNV studio to shoot a segment for an upcoming episode.
