ATA Bankruptcy

Passengers nationwide are dealing with the hardship of being stranded in airports with the ATA bankruptcy and shutdown. The "vacation" airline shutdown it's operations only days after Aloha Airlines shutdown it's operations.

Really, it is sad. My nephew went to Maui on ATA last week and was supposed to return on ATA this coming Sunday. Now my sister has been scrambling to get a flight back for him. I feel for everyone that has to go through this.

I was on their last flight to Hilo on April 2nd. I have to say that I'm really disappointed in all the other airlines that could of accommodated us without being greedy. Even though a lot of people paid more...I still belive that 700.00 one way is ridiculous. All the airlines took advantage of the situation and knew that people would have to pay if they wanted to return home.

Bought my ticket way back in July of 2007 to fly out on APril 3rd to Maui for my moms One yeart anniversary of her death, found out on my way to the airport in Vegas that ATA went bankrupt, Now I can't get a refund, What a rip off.

Plan B

Hope everyone that was with ATA had a Plan B. In today's economy and even when it's a good economy, you have to have a Plan B. Mine was started 15 years ago...What do I mean? Have your own business and work it part time for now (while you still have a job)...Or else...ATA stuff happens...
