In The Dog House
Duane "Dog" Chapman who owns and operates Da Kine Bail Bonds in Honolulu may have barked for the last time. The A&E reality TV show "Dog The Bounty Hunter" has been pulled off the air indefinitely after a private phone conversation with son Tucker was recorded and made public. Chapman used racial slurs in talking to son Tucker about his girlfriend.
The Hawaii Chapter of the NAACP said Chapman's comments were "deeply disturbing." Duane Chapman has contacted Reverend Al Sharpton to set up a discussion with the political, civil rights, and social justice activist. Chapman said he is sorry for using the "N-word" and that he is "deeply disappointed in himself for speaking out of anger and using such a hateful term."
"This is awful. This man should not have a show on television" said Tamika Mallory, who oversees Reverend Al Sharpton's National Action Network's Decency Initiative.
On concerns of Duane "Dog" Chapman comments, A&E Network is taking this matter very seriously. Pending investigation, A&E has suspended production on the Hawaii based reality series and will take appropriate action once concluded.
