Earthquake shakes Big Isle

U.S. Geological Survey's Hawaiian Volcano Observatory recorded a 5.1 magnitude earthquake which shook The Big Island of Hawaii on April 14, 2009 at 12:44pm HST. Epicenter was located 8 miles south of Volcano, Hawaii. No major damage was reported. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center reported that a tsunami threat was not expected.
