Hawaii Helps New Orleans

Members of the Hawaii chapter of the American Red Cross volunteers help with relief operations and prepare for Hurricane Gustav. Some Hawaii volunteers are setup directly in New Orleans, Louisiana while others are located in Texas evacuation sites.

By coincidence, Hurricane Katrina hit the Gulf Coast three years ago after the Ewa Beach Little League won the World Championship. Last week the Waipio Little League won the World Championship and now Hurricane Gustav is set to hit the Gulf Coast.
